Riverside Village is an affordable housing community for singles and families.

The rent is based on income and there are income guidelines as part of the qualification for admission. In some cases, residents pay 30% of their income for rent.

The remainder of the rent is paid in the form of a subsidy.

If a resident qualifies for a subsidy, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), a U. S. government agency, will pay the remainder of the rent.

Riverside Village is a family-oriented apartment community consisting of 26 buildings situated on 36 attractively landscaped acres.

There are 78 one-bedroom units, 183 two bedroom units and 51 three bedroom units. 

Four of these units are handicap-accessible for residents with physical mobility impairments.

In addition to one maintenance staff member residing on site, the property employees an after-hours patrol each evening for the convenience of the residents.

Riverside Village is a smoke-free community and grounds.
