Tucson Department of Housing and Community Development Apartment Details

Tucson Department of Housing and Community Development offers safe and affordable housing options to low income families, seniors and disabled residents in the area that qualify. Assistance is provided through the use and management of Low Rent Public Housing Apartments and The Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. The Department currently manages approximately 1,500 public housing homes located throughout the city. The rentals include those located in high rise apartment buildings, small apartment complexes and some single family homes. There may be a waiting list for these programs and rentals. If you live in the area and are in need of housing assistance please contact them directly for more information about eligibility requirements, availability of assistance and application procedures.
