National Park Seminary Apartments Apartment Details

National Park Seminary Apartments is a multifamily tax credit property, and we have one (1bd) and two (2bd) bedroom apartments available under the Tax Credit Affordable Housing Program available for a move in now or February 2015!  
The current rental rate under the Tax Credit Affordable program is $1,000- 1,126.00 for a one bedroom and $1,100--1,342.00 for a two bedroom,  plus electric.  We currently do not have any two or three bedroom units available.  There are no market rate (unrestricted income ) units available at this time.  
Please review the information below, and if you are interested please come into the Leasing Office  located at, 9615 Dewitt Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910.  Apartment viewing hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM and Friday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.  
Unit availability is on a first come basis.  The first applicant to complete the application for an available unit then reserves the unit for further application processing.  Therefore, you must apply to reserve your new unit before the end of this month.
We offer income and unrestricted income units.  However, currently we do not have any unrestricted units available.  The restricted maximum income limit is as follows:  The current maximum income limit for 50% Median Income is $37,650.00 for one occupant, $43,000.00 for two occupants, and $48,400.00 for three occupants' and $53,750.00 for four occupants.
The current maximum income limit for 60% Median Income is $45,180.00 for one occupant, $51,600.00 for two occupants, and $58,080.00 for three occupants' and $64,500.00 for four occupants.
If your occupancy level is higher than listed, please call for the current income limit for four persons or more. In addition, we offer units at 50% Median Income and the rates are lower than listed above, please call for more details.  The rent range for a one bedroom is $925.00 - $1,550.00, and a two bedroom is $1,100.00 - $1,950.00.    The tenant pays electric. We accept pets, but we do not accept dogs or other unauthorized animals. There is a standard pet deposit fee of $300.00 due upon move-in. There is a laundry facility located on-site.  The security deposit is $400.00 or up to one month's full rent.  There is on-site parking and public street parking. We are close to the Silver Spring and Forest Glen Metro.
