escription: Wesley Housing purchased ParcView Apartments in November 2006. The 14-story, 149-unit building is located in the Landmark area of Alexandria. Planned renovations include combining some one-bedroom units into two-bedroom units, updating the windows, roof, HVAC and appliances, and making some units handicap accessible. Eighty percent of the units will be set aside as affordable apartments for households earning 60% of Area Media Income.
Amenities: ParcView is located across from walking and bike trails and nearby to shops and the metro. Building amenities include: intercom entry system, Olympic-size swimming pool, A/C window and wall units. Units feature dishwashers, garbage disposals, and dual-pane windows.

History: ParcView, Wesley Housing's third community in the City of Alexandria, received a $9 million loan from the City's Affordable Housing Initiatives fund. Virginia Housing Development Authority also provided financing. Longtime property manager, Edgewood Management, will continue in its role. The property will access equity through the Low-Income Housing Tax credit program via Enterprise Community Partners.
