The Housing Resource Center (HRC) is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1994, HRC develops, owns and manages affordable housing in the Southeast. We offer technical assistance to other non-profit organizations and public agencies to further their missions to provide decent, safe and affordable housing for very-low and low-income individuals, the elderly and persons with disabilities.
We currently manage over 200 affordable units in the southeast through contractual arrangements. These units are governed by HUDs Section 202 and Section 811 program requirements. Staff at HRC have received formal training in HUD Occupancy and have taken many SAHMA and IREM sessions on budgeting, marketing, compliance, and fair housing issues. We have an ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) on staff and are familiar with the necessary software programs of the industry.
