What are the apartment rents?
We provide current apartment rates on many listing pages. Most HUD listings do not have published rates. They are based on 30% of the renters adjustable gross income. You will need to contact the apartments to determine if you qualify for income based rent.
What are the Qualifications for Low Income Housing?
We provide different types of low income housing on the website. We provide HUD apartments, Public Housing Apartments, Low Income Housing Tax Credit Apartments, Section 8 housing. There are different rules for each property. Eligibility for HUD is based on your total gross income, family size, immigration status. Normally the families income may not exceed 50% of the medium income for the metropolitan area of the apartment. That is why we provide the phone numbers and websites of these properties so you can call and get specific answers to these specific questions.
How do I qualify for a HUD apartment?
Contact the apartment directly to see qualifications. Different apartments and/or states have different qualifications rules.
