Lymewood is a 24 unit community located in Old Lyme, Connecticut. The community is located in four cottage style buildings with each home having its own front entrance and rear patio door. There are 22 one bedroom units and 2 two bedroom units.
Lymewood is owned by Lymes Elderly Housing, Inc., a non-profit corporation. The community if funded by the USDA Rural Development office and as such the community does provide rental assistance for some of the units. The USDA-RD 515 program for the elderly is open to residents whose head or co-head is aged 62 or older or has a disability. The application packet includes more information on all eligibility criteria including income restrictions.
Some resident amenities include an indoor coin operated laundry, community rooms for resident activities and beautiful outdoor areas.

This apartment accepts HUD subsidies. For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Call for details.
