It has 100 units - 24 efficiencies, 75 one-bedroom and 1 two-bedroom unit for the manager/staff. The property was built in 1987 and is subsidized under HUD's Section 202 program. Puerta Del Sol is located on a flat parcel of land in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood.
