Landings at East Point is part of an aggressive multi-property redevelopment strategy implemented by the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers (HACFM) and Pinnacle. The buildings were acquired by HACFM though a foreclosure conveyance from HUD in the early 1990s, and have suffered from poor physical condition and obsolescence. Pinnacle and HACFM implemented a development program which involved gutting the buildings entirely and totally renovating, reducing the total number of units from 200 to 126. The unused remaining rental assistance was then transferred to support another HACFM/Pinnacle redevelopment, and the resulting "like new" development offers a spacious and LEED-certified 21st Century living environment for its residents.
This apartment accepts HUD subsidies.
For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
