Affordable senior communities originally built by the Community Development Commission Housing Authority of the City of National City (CDC-HA). Community HousingWorks and Mercy Housing California were selected by the City of National City as co-developers and owners of both Kimball Tower and Morgan Tower in 2017 and finalized the acquisition of the property (including the George H. Waters Nutrition Center space on the first floor of Morgan Tower) in March 2019. The 151-apartment tower and 152-apartment tower are both currently under renovation using 4% tax credits with tax exempt bond proceeds, and serve seniors earning 30% to 50% of Area Median Income (AMI).  Both towers serve seniors with incomes up to 50% AMI, and both have project based Section 8 contracts.

This apartment accepts HUD subsidies. For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Call for details.
