4 story nonprofit cooperation organized to acquire the former St. Agnes Hospital (1927-1976) to offer housing for low- to moderate-income elderly and disabled.
Glen Agnes is a substantially rehabilitated property, located at 530 W Floradora Avenue, Fresno, CA 93728, renovated 1976-1979, and presently consists of 149 one-bedroom apartments. The project is regulated and receives housing assistance payments (Section 8) under the terms of a Regulatory Agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Eligibility
This is an equal opportunity housing facility, designed to provide housing to extremely low, very low, and low-income elderly and physically challenged eligible individuals and families under the Section 202/8 Loan and Subsidy Program. Glen Agnes will make "reasonable accommodations" to individuals whose disabilities so require.
Residency is open to all qualified eligible persons without regard to race, color, creed, age, national origin, handicap status, religion, familial status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or marital status. However, because 27 of the units at Glen Agnes have been architecturally altered for accessibility (to various degrees), someone in the family must qualify as "needing" the architecturally altered features to apply for or live in these units, and this need must be verified with a medical practitioner. The only units that someone under 62 years of age can qualify for are the "altered" units for mobility impaired handicapped/disabled.
All potentially eligible and qualified applicants will be considered in accordance with the HUD-Approved Affirmative Fair Housing & Marketing Plan (HUD Form 935.2), after complying with all applicable admissions requirements in HUD Handbook 4350.3 (including all Changes). Section 8 Income Limits apply to this property.
Particular income limits determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in accordance with the Section 8 program do apply. Those who qualify for this program type will pay 30% of his/her monthly income toward rent. Stove and refrigerator are included in the rent.
Glen Agnes does not provide assisted living, nursing services, housekeeping services, or personal care. Residents must be capable of fulfilling lease requirements by themselves or arrange for their own services, to be provided by outside agencies or caregivers.

This apartment accepts HUD subsidies. For HUD subsidized apartments, if you qualify for low income housing and they have available apartments, rent is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income. Call for details.
