Cooperative Housing Senior Housing Apartment Details

CHC offers housing for Senior Citizens age 62+ in their affordable ranch style homes. 5 bedrooms per house, each person has their own private bedroom and full bathroom. Each house includes a living room, dining room, porch or deck, and kitchen for all residents to share.
Amenities including food shopping are provided by CHC, cost included in monthly fee. General cleaning and all maintenance included. Some laundry assistance etc available. Fee is based on the individual's income, assets, and service needs, and is applied on a sliding fee scale. Section 8 welcome, but not required.

Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.
