The Daniel Boone Development Council seeks to provide affordable, decent housing for families and low-income individuals in need. They offer affordable rental housing, weatherization and repair services, housing rehabilitation programs, and affordable homes for low-income individuals or families seeking to purchase a property. The cost of each home or service is subsidized based upon the income of the client. Homes generally range from 900 to 1300 square feet, and families are able to choose carpet, countertops, and lighting fixtures. Staff are all Housing Corporation Certified Counselors.
