Delray Beach Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income rersidents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and the size and length of wait of the list.If you are in need of assistance please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of assistance, the status of any waiting lists and their application procedures. Their office is available Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6:00pm to assist you.
