Public Housing Applications
Applications for the Public Housing Program are available every 3rd Wednesday of every month, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at 502 S Bacher St, Bunnell, FL, 32110. You must apply in person. We will send out a paper application to verified elderly and disabled applicants after written request. Public Housing applications NOT available online.
Section 8 Voucher Applications
Flagler / Clay County Housing Authority WILL BE accepting applications for Section 8 (the Housing Choice Voucher Program) on Monday, April 10, 2023. Please visit our website on Monday, April 10, 2023. You can only apply when the waitlist is open on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 8:30am.
Eligibility for a housing voucher is determined by the PHA based on the total annual gross income and family size and is limited to US citizens and specified categories of non-citizens who have eligible immigration status. Public housing is limited to low-income families and individuals. An HA determines your eligibility based on: 1) annual gross income; 2) whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family; and 3) U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status.

Waiting Lists
Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.

Apartment Rates
We provide current apartment rates on many listing pages. Most HUD listings do not have published rates. They are based on 30% of the renters adjustable gross income. You will need to contact the apartments to determine if you qualify for income based rent.
