Housing Authority of the City of Yuma Apartment Details

The Housing Authority of the City of Yuma offers housing assistance to residents of the area that qualify. Assistance is provided through the management of programs like Public Housing , Tax Credit Housing and Housing Choice Vouchers - Section 8. Eligibility requirements for these programs are set by HUD. Currently HACY manages approximately 250 Public Housing Apartments located at more than 30 properties. There may be a waiting list for these programs and rentals. If you are in need of housing assistance please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of assistance and application procedures. Their office is available  Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM and they are closed the Last Friday of each month.

Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.
