Idaho Housing and Finance Association administers the HUD Section 8 program in 34 of the 44 counties in Idaho.IHFA also provides Low-Income Public Housing and various smaller programs across the state. Their programs are focused on helping low-income families and the elderly or disabled individuals to  obtain affordable rental housing.Many of these programs have waiting lists.
