The Orlando Housing Authority's purpose is to provide safe affordable housing for low income citizens of Orlando and Orange County, Florida. Provides listings of public housing apartments and availability.
Assists low income individuals and families by providing to rent housing units in either the public or private housing markets through Section 8 and Public Housing.
Manages and maintain their housing and each community's public space; and provides residents with programs and opportunities that promotes social and economic enrichment.

Waiting Lists
Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.

Apartment Rates
We provide current apartment rates on many listing pages. Most HUD listings do not have published rates. They are based on 30% of the renters adjustable gross income. You will need to contact the apartments to determine if you qualify for income based rent.
