This is NOT the Section 8 program. Through the Landlord Incentive Program, the tenant portion of the rent will be determined by their household income and the state will pay the remaining portion of the rent to the landlord. This is a great opportunity!
How the Landlord Incentive Program works:
The tenant portion of the is based on household size, household income and the number of bedrooms. For example, a 3-person household with a combined income of $28,070 would only have to pay $843/month or less for a three bedroom apartment. The Program would pay the remaining portion of the rent.
Tenant's monthly rent portion will range between $602 - $1,535 per month dependent upon household income.
