The Carver Apartments are located next to the main office of the Housing Authority of the City of Frederick (HACF) and is just a few blocks from downtown Frederick. This family-oriented community offers on-site maintenance, off-street parking and a playground.
The Carver Apartment community was built in 1952. Carver Apartments is located on the south end of the city, on Madison Street and Broadway Street. Each apartment is equipped with gas heat and water heating and gas stoves for cooking. These walk-up style apartments offer one (1) to four (4) bedrooms, tile floors, hook-ups for washer and dryer and wood cabinets in the kitchen. The apartment complex is located approximately five blocks from downtown Frederick. There is a community building and playground on-site for the convenience of the residents.

All Families in public housing may choose between a Formula Rent and the Flat Rent. Formula rent is based on 30% of the household's adjusted income. Flat Rent amounts for the Carver Community are currently as follows:

Families that choose the flat rent may switch to the formula rent in the event that there is a change in the income which necessitates such.

The Frederick Transit Bus stops on the corner of Madison and Center Street, approximately a block from the community.
