About Dorothy

Hello everyone. I am a single mother of 2 children with one being special needs. Due to losing my job I have fallen behind on my rent. I owe for November and December and have until December 18th to either pay or vacate. We have nowhere to go and I have reached out to several people , churches, and organizations that help but they do not have the funding. We have been homeless before and I cannot let that happen again.

Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.

Apartment Rates

We provide current apartment rates on many listing pages. Most HUD listings do not have published rates. They are based on 30% of the renters adjustable gross income. You will need to contact the apartments to determine if you qualify for income based rent.
