Hello all, I am trying every avenue possible to secure new housing but unfortunately the timing is really hurting our chances. Our landlord has asked for her home back after determining that damages to her primary home during Hurricane Harvey are too great. We are also having an extremely hard time finding housing in our area due to the inflated house prices after the Hurricane. I am asking for $1500 to lessen the burden of coming up with a security deposit on a new rental home on such short notice. I am not one to usually ask for help but I feel like this is something that is appropriate given all the circumstances. I really just want a safe place for my children. Thank you so much in advance.
