Hello, my name is Kay. I dont have a dramatic story to tell but i hope that someone out there understands and is willing to help. I am new to North Carolina, I come from NY, back home I was struggling with my demons trying to make it thtu the day. I was in an abusive relationship and one day had enough. I packed my clothes and moved to NC with nothing but a suitcase full of my daughter and my clothes. Thank God we have a place to live but I have been struggling for the past 4 months to find a job. Im behind on my rent and my landlord has had enough. I ask that someone out there please help me, please, i am doing the best i can for my child but i cant do this alone. I have no one in this entire state and i just need $800 to be caught up with my bills for this month. Also if you know of a good place thats hiring, i am most interested. Thank you for taking the time to read everythibg i wrote. :)
Most low income apartments have waiting lists. Some of these lists can take years until you can be called for openings. The key is to try to get on as many waiting lists as possible.
